MEP Opens New Office in Madison

Attorney Susan Sparks has joined the law firm of Montgomery, Elsner & Pardieck, LLP located in Seymour, Indiana. Ms. Sparks is a former member of the firm Barlow & Sparks in Madison.

Susan Sparks will focus her practice on general trial work, personal injury and medical malpractice, family practice, employment law claims, and criminal law. She is primarily a trial lawyer and has practiced law for five years.

In addition, Montgomery, Elsner & Pardieck, LLP has opened its new office at 223 East Main Street, in Madison, as of March 1, 2004. Susan Sparks will be the attorney primarily responsible for the Madison office.

Montgomery, Elsner & Pardieck, LLP is a regional law firm now comprised of 11 attorneys located in Seymour and Madison. The founding partner, Edward Elsner, Jr., stated that opening an office in Madison is a natural progression of the firm’s growth. “Our client base has traditionally been in Jackson, Jennings and Scott Counties. We are excited to bring Susan aboard because she has an overlapping client base in the counties in which we practice as well as a solid following in Jefferson County.”

Its practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, family law, criminal law, business and estate planning, and real estate. Thomas Lantz, managing partner of the firm, said he believes that the addition of Susan Sparks to the firm’s roster of attorneys will be an excellent addition to Montgomery, Elsner & Pardieck’s trial practice. “We continue to have growth in our personal injury and family law practices and the addition of another trial lawyer to represent individuals in the courtroom is good for the firm as well as our clients”, said Lantz.

Ms. Sparks received her bachelor’s degree from Hanover College University. She received her law degree from the University of Louisville in 1998. She is active in: Indiana State and American Bar Associations, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
